Building Regulations unlike planning permission is always required in the construction of any new building structure. We prepare plans for building regs purposes. Where possible we design the structure to the budget requirements of the clients, whilst still complying with the Building Regulations Act.

What is building regulations? These are a set of pre-defined standards set by the Government to ensure safe building practices and design criteria. They are in 14 parts ranging from A-P which cover structure , drainage, fire safety, glazing sound and thermal insulation etc.

To obtain Building Regulation Approval, plans must be submitted to your Local Authority building control department and inspected to ensure full compliance with the building regulations. They will ask for amendments to the plans when they are not satisfied and we will carry out the necessary amendments as part of our fee, at no additional cost to yourselves.

All Building Regulations plans we produce are of sufficient detail for a building contractor to price from.
